The End of The Year Is Here!!!!

Wow!  I can not believe that we only have 16 more days of school!  Absolutely amazing!  It has been a wonderful year!  Thank you for everything you do to support out cafeteria!

I have updated the menu link for the last of school...PLEASE NOTE:  On the last 2 days of school we will be serving cold sack lunches instead of the scheduled menu.  This is to allow my staff to have the kitchen closed up on the last day.  The children will have a choice of ham or turkey sandwich, Doritos or Cheetos, pickle spear or baby carrots, apple slices or banana and cinnamon goldfish graham or elf grahams. 

I hope everyone has a wonderful, relaxing summer and I will see you in August!!

HAPPY 2012!!

Well, I have not been good with keeping up with my blog and I am so sorry!  It has been a little crazy back in the kitchen and I am trying to get myself caught back up! 

The February menus are posted on the left of the page.  A couple of changes have been made so be sure to print it off for reference.   As always, we love visitors so please come anytime and eat with your child.  No reservations required!  Visitors are $1.50 for breakfast and $2.75 for lunch. 

Happy Valentine's Day and I look forward to seeing eeveryone soon!

Have I Been Out Of It Or What?

Hello there!  I just realized that I have not been keeping up with my blog!  Silly me!  We are already at the end of October and planning the Thanksgiving, yes I said Thanksgiving Feasts!

The schedule is as follows:

Tuesday, November 15th - 2nd grade begins at 10:30 and 5th grade begins at 12:00

Wednesday, November 16th - 1st grade begins at 10:30 and 3rd grade begins at 12:00

Thursday, November 17th - Kindergarten begins at 10:30 and 4th grade begins at 12:00

Look at your flyer and reservation form for specific times!!  We have such a wonderful time and the food is absolutely fabulous so please take time out to come celebrate this very special time with us!!  We will be serving turkey roast, stuffing, gravy, homemade sweet potato souffle, homemade squash casserole, mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, fresh and canned fruit daily and a special dessert!  All guests are $2.75 which includes an entree, 3 sides and a drink!  No better value in the county!!  See you soon!!

WELCOME BACK FOR 2011/2012!!

Hello and Welcome Back to another FABULOUS year at Ford!!  We are back with a vengeance in the kitchen, working our fingers to the bone getting everything organized and making the food as delicious as ever for our students, wonderful staff and of course you as well!!  

There have been a few changes with our menus, so be sure and check out the link on the side of this page.  Instead of monthly menus, these are rotating.  There is also a link for this on the left.

The biggest change for this year is that lunches went up to $1.65 for students and $2.75 for adults this year.  After 8 years, we finally had to up our prices!  But still, WHAT A BARGAIN!!!

SUMMER IS ALMOST HERE!

I can not believe another year has gone by!  My how time flies when you're having fun!!  For the last week of school - on Monday we will be doing a "hodge podge" menu that will include a little of any and everything!  For the last 2 days, the 24th and 25th, we will be doing cold sack lunches so my employees can get the kitchen closed down and be gone on the 25th with the students!  I will be here until Friday the 27th. 

Also, I am adding the End of Year Food and Nutrition Services News as a link on the side of the page for your reference!  The biggest change will be that elementary school lunch will go up to $1.65 instead of $1.60.  Still such a bargain!!
